Two cars left a gas station and traveled in opposite direction. One of the cars moves at 52 km/h while the other moves at 68 km/h. How far apart will they be after 3 hours?

Distance = speed × time.

Distanace travelled by first car = 52 × 3 = 156 km.

Distance travelled by second car = 68 × 3 = 204 km.

Distance between the cars = 156 + 204 = 360 km
